Become a TangoSpirer

The initiative group and Tango Aarhus are excited to continue ‘TangoSpirer Aarhus”, a community for young people aged 18-35 who want to learn Argentine tango.
Everyone is welcome, and you’ll get to learn both roles—leading and following.
This way, you’ll get a deeper understanding of the dance and have twice the fun on the dance floor.
You can come solo or bring a partner and friends—the more, the merrier!
We’re creating a relaxed, friendly, and safe space where you can learn tango.
It’s all about growing and dancing together, learning from both our instructors and each other.

TangoSpirer is a non-profit initiative, so it’s very budget-friendly—see below.
Our instructors are experienced tango dancers from the community, but they’re not professional teachers, nor are they linked to any of the local tango schools in Aarhus.

WHEN

Lessons are every Thursday from 7:00-8:30 PM, followed by free dance from 8:30-10:00 PM. No dance experience needed, show up as you are, with or without a partner!
The free dance time is your chance to practice and get feedback from the instructors.

WHERE

The lessons will be held at Klostergadecenteret, Blå sal. The address is Klostergade 37, 8000 Aarhus C.
Just keep walking up the stairs until you hear tango music, and you’re there!
Feel free to arrive a bit early to help with setting up and mingle with others before we start. All help is very appreciated!

PRICE

First-time guest = Free entry.
Non-members = 40 kr. per evening (cash or MobilePay #430736).
Members = 225 kr. per year. (recommended)

By becoming a member of TangoSpirer Aarhus, you will automatically become a member of Tango Aarhus. The price is 225 kr. for the whole year (gives you free access to TangoSpirer for the rest of the year + a general Tango Aarhus membership + the possibility of a VIP + discounts to Tango Aarhus’ other events).
