Vi fejrer at vi kan lære nyt sammen og at der altid er én at række ud til … at vi aldrig står alene.

Med en tre timer lang workshop takker vi hinanden for vores aktive indsats i foreningens begivenheder. 

Selvfølgelig ved at dele det vi er fælles om, den argentinske tango.

About Maria and Daniel:
Maria August is an active member of Berlin’s tango community, where she has been teaching, DJing, and organizing events for several years. She co-created the El Contrapunto – Queer & Open Role Tango Marathon, whose third edition will take place in May 2026. Maria began tango in a group of women, dancing both roles, and brings this spirit of respect and freedom into her teaching. She has taught and DJed in Berlin, at venues such as Mala Junta and Haus der Sinne, as well as internationally. As a DJ, she provides the joy and comfort of the Golden Age, while occasionally blending in contemporary orchestras to create a welcoming and danceable atmosphere for a diverse community of dancers.

Passionate about tango since 2009, Daniel Koile works as a dancer, organizer, teacher, DJ, and tango photographer. He enjoys sharing the experience of connection and musicality in both dancing and DJing as essential elements of the dance. He likes exploring the dialogue between movement, sound, and emotion on the dance floor, embracing tango as an inclusive and engaging social dance.

Together, Daniel and Maria organize the milonga La Luna Improvisada in Berlin and teach the double-role classes there.
