The association's meeting place

Every week there are Friday practices at the Folkestedet. If, on rare occasions, the practice is cancelled, this will appear in the calendar and on the association's Facebook page: "Tango Aarhus". The calendar announces who is the evening's DJ and host.

The structure of the Friday practice has developed over the years -  currently is it most often the case that the first class at 20-21 are dedicated to practice without cortinas. How you prefer to practice we must not interfere at all, but in this class there must be room for missteps, which we all take with a smile. Perhaps you want feedback, or are in doubt about a step, so we ask each other in this class. Here there is space and space to practice with each other.

From 21-23 it is played according to the traditional milonga structure, where most people bid up and dance with different people. But you are of course also welcome to stick with your practice partner.

A "crawling yard" is usually made, which you can enter if you need to stand still and practice a sequence, so that you don't stop the dance flow in the ronda.

• Medlemspris: 30 kr. for indgang, foreningen er vært for et lille snack bord. Gæster: 50 kr.

1-2 times a month there Tango Lab at 19-20 before the practice. Tangolab is included in the above price.
